Girlie Drink of the Week

I know it doesn’t feel like it in parts of our country, but we are well into Spring and some of us are enjoying temperatures to match. Today’s offering is a simple twist on a classic.

The Greyhound

  • 2 oz. Vodka
  • 5 oz. Grapefruit juice
  • Grapefruit slices for garnish (optional)

Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake gently. Strain into a highball glass over ice, and garnish with a grapefruit slice. I prefer Ruby Red grapefruit juice since it is sweeter. If using herbs to garnish like rosemary or basil (don’t knock it), use regular grapefruit juice. Either way, this will keep you cool when the weather finally decides to cooperate 🙂
