Holy Cow! This Place is Still Here!

21 Oct

That sounds weird, I know. Sorry I haven’t been here in….. apparently a long time. Too much going on in our family, unfortunately. The passing of family, and old friends tends to make us aware of Time a bit more sharply, I guess.

So, how YOU doin’??

evil and bake cookies lol

I’m feeling a bit more happy nowadays šŸ˜‰

Haha, I was just gonna post something here, to the same effect.

And how is everyone on this bright and sunny morning!

First freeze was here, although not “the” hard freeze. So there’s still allergies all around.

    BOOOOO!

It is waaaaaay cooler than I had hoped it would be. It is going to put a serious crimp in my Halloween plans.

    yay for cake!

In other news, Texas A&M phenom Michael Wacha is pitching game 2 of the World Series for the Cardinals. I’m a fan, in case you didn’t know.

Evidently he has relatives with Iowa ties. So of course the media up here has been buzzing about it.

    • LC Aggie Sith October 23, 2013 at 11:44 am #

Awesome! I’m rooting for the Cards, because the alternative is galling šŸ˜‰

7 days of serious fog here. It’ s starting to look like Steven Kings’ “The Mist”, well without the tenticles, spiders and that shit.
    Gloomy and depressing…

    For Aggie:

    re: the Castros.

Is it true that their mother founded La Raza?

    http://www.ibtimes.com/10-things-know-about-san-antonio-mayor-julian-castro-761409

So, in regards to my last link, how is San Antonio doing these days?

    • LC Aggie Sith November 6, 2013 at 11:16 am #

One thing about Texas: the larger cities are always blue. ALWAYS. And yes, she was a major founder for that racist organization, but gets away with it because, you know, RACE CARD!!

That link makes it seem as though Castro is well-liked by the conservatives here. In truth, he tries to drive a big wedge. He doesn’t shy away from using his race to his advantage, especially FOR THE CHILDREN™. His twin is just as liberal, if not more so.

Castro is trying to be Cisneros without the scandal. He aspires big, no matter what he claims on that article.
