    WAKE THE FECK UP!!!

I haven’t been to bed yet, so get the heck in here and talk to me!

A federal judge in San Diego dismissed an unprecedented lawsuit seeking to grant constitutional protection against slavery to a group of orcas that perform at SeaWorld parks, saying the 13th amendment applies only to humans.

The liberal women on The View, Wednesday, shrieked at the “totalitarian” decision by a Texas judge to uphold a law requiring women to look at an ultrasound before having an abortion. Co-host and journalist Barbara Walters found the legal ruling– and not the act of abortion itself– to be “heartbreaking.”

    Awwwwww….

Without former Michigan Democratic Rep. Bart Stupak, President Barack Obama wouldn’t have gotten his health care overhaul in 2010 passed through Congress.

But Stupak, a pro-life Catholic who voted for the health care reform after being promised that federal dollars wouldn’t fund abortions, now isn’t happy with Obama.

    Jazzercize, workin da poat!

Good to see “Jazz’s Morning Headlines™” again!

  6. Jay in Ames February 9, 2012 at 8:53 am #

And Stupak had NO IDEA is was gonna be Professor Obama, in the Oval Office, with a pen.

The mystery was plainly obvious to those of us paying attention. And not ignoring Democrat behavior.

  7. Jazz February 9, 2012 at 8:59 am #

I am unsure why a posse hasn’t ridden over to the other side of the state to exact vengeance on that turd.

  8. Jay in Ames February 9, 2012 at 9:05 am #

I get what you’re feeling, Jazz. After all, we have Tom Harkin. And that particular turd is still in office!

Twelve white Buffalo firefighters will get an average of $230,430 each in back pay, pension benefits and damages — a total of almost $2.77 million — for emotional distress because the City of Buffalo illegally passed them over for promotions, a state judge has ruled.

The other thing: Have the Dems considered what the overwhelmingly Roman Catholic hispanic population is going to think of Obama’s attack on religious freedom? Hispanics are not gonna overlook this.

  11. Jay in Ames February 9, 2012 at 9:11 am #

It’s good to see that white males can now jump on the affirmative action gravy train.

On Saturday, Icelandic member of parliament Birgitta Jónsdóttir posted a nomination letter on her blog on behalf of the three-member parliamentary group The Movement, proposing suspected WikiLeaks source Bradley Manning as a candidate for the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize. Nobel Peace Prize nominations can be submitted by any member of a national assembly, among others.

J’Ames, I think AA is what kept them from getting promoted in the first place. Or… Are you being fatuous?

  14. Jay in Ames February 9, 2012 at 9:13 am #

Hispanics already do overlook it. It’s the left leaning leadership, censoring what they hear at Mass.

Also, is Mass capitalized, or not?

  15. Jay in Ames February 9, 2012 at 9:14 am #

Yes, it is because of AA they were overlooked. Therefore, it’s a direct result of AA that taxpayers will now have to pay 2.7 million dollars to them.

Vince Flynn’s newest book is out, now, Kill Shot. We get to see what Mitch Rapp has been up to.

    Harumpf!

  18. LC Aggie Sith February 9, 2012 at 9:34 am #

    GOOD MORNING!!!

I am ECSTATIC to see Jazz posting linkies for me. Ok, for everyone, but I still feel special.

Yes, you do capitalize Mass, J’Ames 😀

Also, our Archbishop here in San Antonio did NOT have that letter read. We congregants would have never known about it, if not for some priests who took it upon themselves to come forward. It is no secret that our Archbishop is a liberal asshole.

    And I am being kind.

  19. LC Aggie Sith February 9, 2012 at 9:38 am #

About the link on The View. I find it disgusting that these four twatwaffles are saying it is HEARTBREAKING to see an ultrasound. Why would it be heartbreaking if the baby is nothing but a bunch of cells?

  20. Jay in Ames February 9, 2012 at 10:02 am #

The Lutheran Church has removed flags from the church, mostly. My parent’s church has not, thankfully. The pastor has stood up to resistance from his peers about it, too.

  21. LC Aggie Sith February 9, 2012 at 10:04 am #

    Removing flags? Why?

  22. Jay in Ames February 9, 2012 at 10:09 am #

They removed the American flag from by the altar, because of some silly interpretation. Something along the lines of “we don’t worship the flag, we worship God”.

Pastor Keith sees it differently. Properly, IMHO.

  23. LC Aggie Sith February 9, 2012 at 10:11 am #

Wow…. how douchy, J’Ames. No offense meant.

  24. Jazz February 9, 2012 at 10:12 am #

I’m multitasking, J’Ames. You sounded a bit like a woman there, though, with the expectant demands on my time.

  25. TerribleTroy February 9, 2012 at 10:22 am #

Calling those humanoids on the View “women” is a mis-characterization that gives real women a bad name. The humans (and I use “human” very loosely) on the view would much prefer to perpetuate the myth that it is nothing but a ” minor medical procedure.” Reality is a bitch….

I dont know what it is about many latino catholic churches and their tendency to lean hardcore left. I do know they were part of the problem that had to be “addressed” in Central America during the late 70’s early 80’s.

Maybe Aggie could shed some light on the behavior from a sociology perspective. My theory is that the small communities were more prone to collective behavior / mindset due familial inter-connectivity / tribal type survival necessity.

  26. LC Aggie Sith February 9, 2012 at 10:30 am #

You sounded a bit like a woman there, though, with the expectant demands on my time.

Yeah, he was doing MY job.

  27. LC Aggie Sith February 9, 2012 at 10:34 am #

Troy, it has more to do with the Church shunting it’s obligations to charity towards the state.

That whole “social justice” thing just recently reared its ugly head, but the truth is, the Church has been pushing that for decades, and sometimes I get the feeling it was only so that they could keep the money, and make us give more to the state through taxation for the charities endorsed by them.

  28. Jazz February 9, 2012 at 10:35 am #

It was the goddam Jesuits and their fucking Liberation Theology that got lambasted in Central America. The Jesuits have been disbanded more than once, basically for insubordination. I am not a fan of the Jebbies..

  29. LC Aggie Sith February 9, 2012 at 10:37 am #

    ^^^^ What Jazz said 😀

  30. TerribleTroy February 9, 2012 at 10:54 am #

    Well I think its..

All Because your momma dont dance and your daddy dont rock n roll…(song is on the box)

What confuses me the most is that they (the Jesuits, thanks for the clarification) didn’t seem to comprehend that if the system they were espousing (communism) was successful, they likely would have been eradicated pretty quickly by the same system.

But then again humans are goofy…

    BOOBIES&NIPPLES!!!ELEVENTY!!!

Aren’t those Buffalo firefighters being compensated due to a rebuke of the “wise Latina Justice” by the SCOTUS when she was still an appeals court judge?

@ Clint, praaaahaise the lord and pass the ammo!

Any of you familiar with Cassy Fiano (she’s a blogger and Marine wife)? She got a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome with her second baby (yes, I’ve already talked with her):

    I think so, BisW.

Y’all know about the Travelling Red Dress project I’m participating in?

Today I got messages from several women who want to wear it!!!

    WHEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

I’m gone until tonight, folks. Have a good afternoon. 🙂

  38. LC Aggie Sith February 9, 2012 at 2:25 pm #

    Have a good one, Jazz!

That’s an awesome story, Teresa 🙂

  39. Jay in Ames February 9, 2012 at 2:39 pm #

Good story, TiFW. It’s good that someone like Cassy got that diagnosis, and not Amanda Marcotte. That gives the child a chance, right off the bat.

Hey, any of you interested in helping me out at my blog? I’ve got a commenter who doesn’t “get” it. Name is Fred (you’ll see the comment I’m talking about).

BE NICE, please – he’s not a troll; he’s always been very nice whenever he has commented at my site.

    http://t.co/2KJtDdXf

I’m too tired to deal with him this afternoon, and many of you are better at explaining this stuff than I am…..

  42. Lizard February 9, 2012 at 7:06 pm #

@Jay can you give more information about Lutheran churches removing the American flag? I haven’t noticed and would like more information about.

  43. Lizard February 9, 2012 at 7:17 pm #

In regards to the women(I’m being kind here) of the The View. I guess what REALLY made me see red was them saying that no one is there to provide help to the woman who decides not to have an abortion. That’s because they have blocked them from being at the clinics for one and second as I said in an email to them STFU because I know that there are organizations out there that do help the woman who need help.

    http://www.therepublic.com/view/story/c50c0b40c9e040c99cb02fc0fdc384a0/NJ–Teachers-Union-Comment/

Ok so if it was conservative that said “Life’s not always fair and I’m sorry about that.” regarding lower income schools can you imagine how the Libs would just be frothing at the mouth.

  45. TerribleTroy February 9, 2012 at 7:20 pm #

@ TiFW. Well he’s certainly not being nice in this instance, he’s fucking you around by saying that “he doesn’t get it” when my fucking 12 yr old can comprehend you position. Don’t waste your time trying to reason with this individual on this issue. I can tell by his writing style that he has a modicum of intelligence, but he is being unreasonable in his unwillingness to acknowledge your “concept”. I suggest you agree to disagree before he insults your intellect to the point of harsh words.

Either that or I can make him cry for you.

  46. LC Aggie Sith February 9, 2012 at 8:14 pm #

Fred isn’t a bad troll. He’s actually really nice. I think Teresa took care of him fine, though.

Liz, that union prick apparently thinks that fairness stops at his salary.

  47. Teresa in Fort Worth, TX February 9, 2012 at 8:29 pm #

Troy, I’ve learned – much to my sorrow – that there really are people who just can’t reason through things like we do. And try as you might, you may never be able to convince them that they aren’t seeing the whole picture, because they are never going to be capable of seeing the whole picture.

Which is why they vote Democrat.

Some of them can be reached, others can’t. It is what it is.

Fred might be reachable in a few years; I get the impression that he is on the youngish side (I believe he has young children at home), and hasn’t taken the time to think things through.

He’s always been courteous, though, so I try not to be mean to him…..

  48. Dick (@DicksTrash) February 9, 2012 at 10:06 pm #

Teresa, that’s nice and all, but I’d rather kill them and turn them into pig feed.

  49. clintbird February 9, 2012 at 11:05 pm #

Liberalism as has been observed by many is a mental illness.

It cannot be cured. It can only be treated via termination, banning and expulsion or some combination of all these choices.

Reasoning won’t work, nor will history register with them.

Quit wasting your time being “nice” to them.

  50. clintbird February 9, 2012 at 11:25 pm #

I think I shall go find a nice little song to close down this ol’ thread for the night. BRB.

  51. clintbird February 9, 2012 at 11:28 pm #

    Aggie will like this one:

  52. terribletroy February 10, 2012 at 9:41 am #

@ TiFW of all the tactics employed by “people” one of the ones that I despise the most is the passive – aggressive “dummy up” method. I find it highly insulting. If the individual is really motivated by a desire to debate and learn from the interaction I can respect that, but I see the “dummy up method” as a attempt to waste my time. I don’t fault a youthful person for being somewhat ignorant (god knows I was, and continue to be in many ways) but I do blame them when they refuse to accept basic logic.
