  2. Jay in Ames November 17, 2011 at 9:32 am #

    What’s so good about it?

    What’s Good about it?

    1. I woke up
    2. I was able to dress myself.

Every day is a good day….some are just better than others.

    Ooooh…. doesn’t sound like J’Ames is happy…

*gives J’Ames a cup of coffee and a jelly doughnut*

    There! Better now?

  6. LC Aggie Sith November 17, 2011 at 9:56 am #

    Good morning, Troy! Keeping warm?

  7. Jay in Ames November 17, 2011 at 9:59 am #

Brought out the winter coat here, finally. Below 20.

  8. LC Aggie Sith November 17, 2011 at 10:05 am #

    Oh shit, dude… 20* FARHENHEIT???

Because it sounds better in Celsius.

  9. Jay in Ames November 17, 2011 at 10:25 am #

    Yep, minus 6 C.

    -6 C.

Just in case the first one didn’t grab your attention.

good news, though, it’s 266 Kelvin!

That’s a good one, wish I would have thought of it.

I just tried to put the ring on the wrong hand. Minor mishap.

  12. LC Aggie Sith November 17, 2011 at 10:50 am #

Oh yeah, that’s pretty minor. Not many can see the mishap from that vantage point, right?

Everyone could see when Hubby tried to unknot the rings from the little pillow, and ended up having to cut the ribbons as everyone chuckled…

It’s cold here too. I’ve got flurries right now.

Poor chickens are probably freezing their beaks off.

  14. Car in November 17, 2011 at 11:33 am #

That’s a horrible story – your friends. they probably got so over-the-top drunk (which is kind of disrespectful of the bride) because they knew how the wedding was going to turn out.

I mean, they obviously didn’t just have one or two too many.

  15. LC Aggie Sith November 17, 2011 at 12:07 pm #

No, they didn’t. But I don’t think they liked the woman much, and she proved them right, apparently.

I’m just glad Hubby didn’t have a bachelor party. He opted to go fishing 🙂

  16. Jay in Ames November 17, 2011 at 1:16 pm #

    No bachelor party? That’s unpossible!

  17. LC Aggie Sith November 17, 2011 at 1:29 pm #

    Nope, he didn’t want one….then… 😉

  18. terribletroy November 17, 2011 at 1:58 pm #

Fishing…..yeah, yeah, that’s the ticket! I was “fishing” with uh….our Preacher! Yeah……..Yeah, and then we went to uh…..choir practice! Yeah that’s where I was….fishing with our Preacher and singing hymns……

I’ve been privelaged today by putting plastic on our /orth and west windows in 30 degree (not factoring wind chill from 15 mph winds). Guess I shouldn’t whine…..least I have windows. Ever since coming back from the shithole my tolerance for cold is nil. I get pissy when the temp gets below 60.

I’ve had better mornings. At least I didn’t stroke out or kill someone, so that’s a plus.

Ah yes, the every 4 year bashing of Iowa Republicans has begun. I hear we are all stupid assholes, who only care about ourselves. All because of the caucuses.

    *sigh

  21. terribletroy November 17, 2011 at 2:52 pm #

You sure its just because of the caucuses? : )

    Muwahahahaha…..

  22. MCPO Airdale November 17, 2011 at 2:54 pm #

Troy – To which particular shithole do you refer? I spent two winters in Iceland. Makes PA winters seem kinda tame.

  23. Jay in Ames November 17, 2011 at 3:19 pm #

I know there’s more reasons (that Iowans are assholes), but the caucuses is the one that is pointed out. At least at this time of year.

  24. clintbird November 17, 2011 at 3:30 pm #

Iowa girls eat a lot of corn.

  25. clintbird November 17, 2011 at 3:31 pm #

But not as much as Nebraska girls.

  26. Jay in Ames November 17, 2011 at 4:20 pm #

I eat a lot of corn too. It’s in the form of corn fed beef, pork, and chicken.

  27. terribletroy November 17, 2011 at 4:38 pm #

I was a evul mercenary contractor based out of USACENTCOM ME Doha, Qatar. Just a wee bit warmer than Iceland.

  28. Jay in Ames November 17, 2011 at 4:56 pm #

Wow, Joy Behar had a show. Who knew?

All I know is that it’s cancelled. *insert collective sigh here.

My public service for the day is to pass along this link:
    http://www.hughchou.org/calc/chol.php
Which can tell you your risk of developing Coronary Artery Disease, based on a few of your “numbers”.

Mr. TiFW is gonna be pissed to find out that his fat wife has MUCH better RATIOS than he does (even though her raw numbers are giving her doctor kittens…..)

    Mwahahahahahahaha……

Cute wedding story, Ags – I left you a comment about my “straight-laced” father and the prank that he pulled….

  31. LC Aggie Sith November 17, 2011 at 6:44 pm #

HAHAHA!! That was hilarious, Teresa 😀

  32. Teresa in Fort Worth, TX November 17, 2011 at 8:20 pm #

BiW hasn’t been over here to link his funny story?

OK, then – I’ll do it for him.
Everyone finish eating/drinking, and go pee BEFORE you read this:
