Yeah, I’m doing this.

Consider it a Public Service Announcement to kids. I love Halloween 😀

I have the pumpkins, and the carving tools. I have a few empty beer cans of the cheap stuff (what kid can afford high class liquor?), and cheap plastic wine glasses.

All I need is to figure out where to best display them 😀

At the kitchen table, having a game of cards.

That is too funny…. I think it would teach a better lesson if it were surrounded by empty candy wrappers. I volunteer to eat the candy!

I can do the candy wrappers, for sure!! 😀

That’s really cool, Dick – thanks for sharing that!

Great job by the ISU fans – looks like they had fun.

That was a very nice Card Trick Iowa did.

Just watched the Las Vegas crash. Looked like a movie stunt. It was horrible.

Sorry to hear about the Cowboys, SD.

    There’s still the Rangers, though.

That was the U of Iowa, not Iowa State. Still a good trick, They did it last year too.

I get it, all us Iowans look alike to you Texans.

The thing about those racecars is that as terrible as the crashes look most of the time, the fact of the matter is that ALL of those pieces of metal are designed to pop off precisely so that they can take all of the energy of the impact away from the interior compartment of the car (and thus, protect the driver).

Most of the time, drivers are able to miraculously walk away; unfortunately, that isn’t always the case.

It’s really sad when something like this happens – I remember people talking about the race getting ready to start on Twitter, and then I left for a while, only to come back to that terrible news….

    OK – I scheduled a crappy-ass poat to drop at 6:00 a.m. – should coincide with Dick dropping something…..

I’ve got a teeth cleaning scheduled in the morning – oh, joy.
