    “Vital life force energy” HAHAHAHA.

It’s called protein, idiot. Have a piece of bacon.

My pets are much cleaner and smarter than those libtards.

  10. LC Aggie Sith April 20, 2011 at 5:00 pm #

I spent almost four hours getting my tires balanced and rotated, and getting a new battery installed in the van.

And this is what I come home to find….again….

    I need another shower.

Did anyone else design a house today with a prayer room in it? Anyone? Anyone?

  18. agiledog April 20, 2011 at 5:07 pm #

a house today with a prayer room in it?

    A porcelan alter?

  19. LC Aggie Sith April 20, 2011 at 5:07 pm #

J’Ames, make sure you haven’t eaten anything before watching, and have a strong drink at the ready for when you are done.

  20. LC Aggie Sith April 20, 2011 at 5:10 pm #

Did anyone else design a house today with a prayer room in it?

*looks at pics of gran’s pig sty*

    Not…today

  21. GMLand April 20, 2011 at 5:11 pm #

    A porcelan alter?

    – – – – –

A Hindu alter. The home is designed to assume certain requirements of the faith, sorta like Feng Shui.

  22. MCPO Airdale April 20, 2011 at 5:14 pm #

GML – Have to laugh. Had a C.O. in an E-2C Hawkeye squadron that was a “New Age” crystal gazer. They had a “meditation” room in their house. It was a hoot!

At his Change of Command, he had a “Priestess” speak. One of her phrases was “warriors for peace”. I leaned over to the Maintenance Master Chief and asked if that was anything like, “fuckers for virginity”?

  23. Blackiswhite, Imperial Consigliere April 20, 2011 at 5:16 pm #

Wheeew. At least they weren’t altars.

Hindu? By the time I finished the Bhagavad Gita, I had decided that Adjuna was a whiner and I wasn’t that impressed with Krishna, either.

  24. GMLand April 20, 2011 at 5:18 pm #

I have actually designed many homes that had prayer rooms, meditation rooms, alters, congregationals, etc… They are shooting themselves in the foot on the resale market but, if they are willing to spend the quan, then more power to em.

  25. LC Aggie Sith April 20, 2011 at 5:18 pm #

    “fuckers for virginity”

    HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Hot coffee out my nose!!! Owie!!

  26. Blackiswhite, Imperial Consigliere April 20, 2011 at 5:19 pm #

Hey! I was saving that for later….

You snooze, you lose. Besides, I am closer.

  27. agiledog April 20, 2011 at 5:19 pm #

It is actually interesting, Guy. I find it fascinating what different people will find important enough in their lives such that they will mold their living space to accomdate it. My wife and I do it on a mostly superfical level for our dogs (fenced yard, doggie door, gates in hallways, etc.) This customer of yours obviously fells strong enough in their faith to potentially impact the future value or sale-ability of his home.

  28. USGA April 20, 2011 at 5:21 pm #

    BisW …. WEIRD… me too

I always try to indulge myself in other world beliefs to understand how
    these people think… I call it… “homework”

I got 5 pages into the Koolran, and ended up just pissing on it. LOL
I got 50 pages into the Bhagavad Gita, and just laughed…. LOL

  29. LC Aggie Sith April 20, 2011 at 5:21 pm #

GM, my roommate from college was a Shinto Bhuddist. She wanted an altar room in her home, but she requested that every thing be modular, so if she had to sell the house, the room could be marketed as an office.

  30. GMLand April 20, 2011 at 5:21 pm #

Your absolutely right AD. Most times they will have to pay for the remodel to undo their specifics for the home to be marketable.

  31. USGA April 20, 2011 at 5:23 pm #

You Americans crack me up everyday…

I can’t imagine what other people around the world think about what you guys post….

  50. Dick April 20, 2011 at 5:50 pm #

Patty, if ya need a hand, I can help. Car salesmen are easy peasy.

  51. MCPO Airdale April 20, 2011 at 5:51 pm #

PA – I’d ask for a paternity test!! That is among the 5 dumbest things I’ve heard in the last 12 months.

  52. Dick April 20, 2011 at 5:51 pm #

Call me when you finish infantry school.

    Hahahahahahahaha!

    If he’s still breathing then.

  53. PattyAnn April 20, 2011 at 5:53 pm #

Thanks, Dick, but if I accepted help from you then John would think I thought we was a wussy with the salesman. Hahaha. There has to be a way around this.

  54. Blackiswhite, Imperial Consigliere April 20, 2011 at 5:54 pm #

My daughter just posted this on FB: “A bit lost as to why Obama gets the blame for greedy gas company execs. Capitalism, it’s what’s for dinner.”

The same reason he should get the blame for 20% real unemployment. Because it is his doing.

  55. MCPO Airdale April 20, 2011 at 5:54 pm #

P/A – I made Herself buy her own car this time. I didn’t even ask what she paid for it.

  56. Dick April 20, 2011 at 5:55 pm #

PA, there is. What have you decided on?

  57. PattyAnn April 20, 2011 at 5:55 pm #

Chief…I think they switched babies on me at the hospital. She says that when she was born a trust fund baby and has enjoyed money she never worked for her entire life. (No, not from my side of the family. I was born a poor black child)

  58. Dick April 20, 2011 at 5:56 pm #

I need year, model and options.

  59. LC Aggie Sith April 20, 2011 at 5:57 pm #

Dick, the Messican shit is thick here too 😉

PattyAnn, your daughter is going through her post-idealistic phase. Have Dick help straighten her out.

Angel, you need to GTFOD soon, buddy!

  60. MCPO Airdale April 20, 2011 at 5:57 pm #

Dick – When I was part of the Naval Emergency Ground Defense Force, the fucking Jarhead NCOs damned near killed us for a month. . . then they just treated us like shit.

  61. Blackiswhite, Imperial Consigliere April 20, 2011 at 5:58 pm #

She says that when she was born a trust fund baby and has enjoyed money she never worked for her entire life.

If she’s feeling guilty, she can always give it back….

  62. USGA April 20, 2011 at 5:58 pm #

Love how the old guys rag on the younging…. Tis true, will not deny.

But I finished “school” when i went down to the _____ for a few weeks…. alone.

If your referring to “hugs and kisses camp” I’ll give you a buzz…
    It’s a joke now… Everyone knows that

  63. PattyAnn April 20, 2011 at 5:58 pm #

We’re looking at a Ford Fiesta. My problem is he has to go with me to make sure he’ll fit in it because he’ll have to drive it when I keep the Tundra home to take it when it needs the garage for oil changes, etc. Yes, I do that for him and I even mow the yard if he’s been working too much. DON’T JUDGE ME!

  64. USGA April 20, 2011 at 5:58 pm #

    woops… wrong language…. Not old… older… older than me… MUCH RESPECT! LOL

  65. MCPO Airdale April 20, 2011 at 6:02 pm #

USGA – I am old. I went through Boot Camp in 1971. I was keeping the Commie horde at bay when your daddy hit puberty.

  66. LC Aggie Sith April 20, 2011 at 6:03 pm #

    PattyAnn, I do the same….

    I love to coddle Hubby.

    No, not like an egg.

  67. PattyAnn April 20, 2011 at 6:04 pm #

“If she’s feeling guilty, she can always give it back….”

Hahaha, I would say she could give it to me but I have never and will never take a penny of that money. I signed legal documents when her father died to never claim any of it. Do you have any idea what control by money does to generation after generation?

  68. MCPO Airdale April 20, 2011 at 6:06 pm #

    PA – No. What?

  69. USGA April 20, 2011 at 6:06 pm #

LOL. That’s not old! That’s still young!

Both my uncles were in Boot in 1966… My family has always kept Commie’s at bay.

My Firefighting grandfather wouldn’t allow my father to join because he had to help keep food on the table for his mother and sister…

  70. PattyAnn April 20, 2011 at 6:07 pm #

Aggie, I do it because it’s never expected and always appreciated. Freely giving is the key to a good marriage. Both ways.

  71. PattyAnn April 20, 2011 at 6:07 pm #

    BBL

  72. Dick April 20, 2011 at 6:09 pm #

PA, buy whatever Fiesta ya want and expect a $500 rebate or 1.9% financing (take the financing) Those cars don’t have shit for markup, so figure your sales tax, 6.25% plus Title, license, and bullshit. ($250 max for the rest)
Don’t buy anything the dealer offers in the way of warranties, service policies, and aftermarket add-ons, cause it’s all horseshit.

Figure if ya get a few hundred off the sticker on a Fiesta, ya’ve done good, and I wouldn’t wouldn’t even bother to try.

  133. PattyAnn April 20, 2011 at 10:08 pm #

I’m sorry, Roamy, that was a pity day for me. I’d be dead without the surgery and I’m trying to be grateful I had the family, doctors and insurance that I have. I’m just way too impatient.

Roamy, I used to work with a woman whose daughter did 4H and raised a lamb every year. I bought all she would sell me.

  223. clintbird April 21, 2011 at 8:50 am #

I wonder if your 100 bpm is just YOU. I work out regularly including aerobic activity. My resting HR is almost always around 100 – been that way my whole life.

  224. Car in April 21, 2011 at 8:51 am #

I told you the story about my MIL and the Cleveland clinic, right? Her specialist in Toledo tole her she needed some surgery (blocked artery in neck) – she decided to go to CC to have it done.

Pre-o, they re-check Toledo’s doc tests? She didn’t need the surgery. They cancelled. She’d been under and everything.

  225. roamy April 21, 2011 at 8:59 am #

Clintbird, before everything went weird, my usual heartrate was 80. I think I could handle the 100 bpm if I still had the same amount of energy. I still get some of the symptoms of the congestive heart failure – swollen ankles, shortness of breath, etc. But I’m still here, dammit.

Except now, I have to go to work. Y’all have a great day! (((squishy hugs)))

My daughter just posted this on FB: “A bit lost as to why Obama gets the blame for greedy gas company execs. Capitalism, it’s what’s for dinner.”

PA, that makes me admire species that eat their young.

  236. PattyAnn April 21, 2011 at 10:28 am #

Jazz, she was switched at birth. The only rational answer 🙂 Haha. No, really, she’s just a limousine liberal who has not had to experience the real world. But she’s beginning to realize it under the current regime. It’s just taking way too long.

  237. Jazz April 21, 2011 at 10:51 am #

Jazz, she was switched at birth. The only rational answer

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

PA, I’m childless, so I don’t know the truth of what I’m about to say, but I’m not sure any parental love that I might feel for a child of mine could ever overshadow my love for freedom and spite for government. Maybe I have an attachment disorder, but I have no trouble cutting folks out of my life when they willfully take wrong turns (and shitting on my freedom and stealing my cash under the guise of collecting taxes is definitely a wrong turn).

  238. Jazz April 21, 2011 at 10:52 am #

  242. Jazz April 21, 2011 at 11:12 am #

  243. beasn April 21, 2011 at 11:21 am #

The husband’s heart rate is really low too. All that running in our yout, had some lasting effect.

Sorry about the coworker Jazz. Embarrassing and a pain in the ass. My coworker sharted herself about 3 times in a six week period. A change in her meds, being near 80, and the restroom a ways away, can do that to you.

Now she wears thicker Depends. Poor gal but she takes it in stride…..her attitude is ‘whatever’.

I wish I could go to church with you BiW. I think you’d do wonders for my spirituality.

I’m really not sure how to take that.

  247. beasn April 21, 2011 at 11:30 am #

maybe that is why crying babies always stopped crying when Mr. Beasn held them.

His heartrate (which was lower than mine), not his sharts.

My coworker is my age – 45 or so. This is pretty humiliating. I think he was trying to suppress a silent but deadly release, and it all just got away from him. I was talking to him when it happened. The shock and horror on his face when he realized what was happening was disconcerting. I was really uncomfortable for him.

Now I’m laughing, but I can’t tell anyone here – I don’t want to add to his humiliation.

I would be dropping subtle hints around the room, like “it used to smell a lot less like shit in here.” or, “so glad I have useful sphincter muscles, it would be embarrassing to go around shitting myself all the time.”

    Just have fun with it!

As a distance runner, my husband knows a thing or two about sharts.

I used to HATE running shartlicks on the track. I much preferred road work. Especially in the practice when the coaches made the sprinters run with us.

Wonkette goes shitty on Trig Palin. Huggies and Papa John’s make a statement. Wonkette goes all prejudice-y and discriminatory on PJ’s. I consume one bucket of popcorn and order perpetual refills.

Funny, but when the newer Star Trek series referred to “the Borg,” I always thought of Bjorn Borg. He was pretty cold and mechanical, too.

  254. beasn April 21, 2011 at 11:43 am #

Jazz, tell your coworker to not fret, shit happens.

I had a coworker, meanest old bat ever, fart in mid sentence while speaking to me. She just shrugged it off and continued.

    What can one do?

Jazz, the exchange between the Wonkette editor and Mediaite was EPIC! And reading Cuffy’s tweets to them? I was laughing my ass off.

  258. Jay in Ames April 21, 2011 at 11:51 am #

Heh, I saw John Nolte doing this in his tweets when eddiebear was twisting weigel’s and ynglesias’s tail the other day, but didn’t realize others were doing it too. Well played!

J’Ames – I love the idea. I am just not very twitterliterate. All the retweets and RT’s confuse me and I don’t know who I am insulting or talking to half the time I try it.

I had a boss who would punctuate his sentences with flatus. Any conversation that required more than two sentences from him was torturous.

  262. Jazz April 21, 2011 at 12:13 pm #

BiW, I didn’t see the Wonkette editor’s exchange with Mediaite. Have you got a linksy?

  263. Jay in Ames April 21, 2011 at 12:28 pm #

Oh my, Cuffy’s twitter feed is HILARIOUS!

  264. Blackiswhite, Imperial Consigliere April 21, 2011 at 12:31 pm #

    Yeah.

  265. Jazz April 21, 2011 at 12:38 pm #

Okay, I need a link to Cuff’s Twitfeed.

And BiW? That Mediaite column was excellent. The best part? Having that fucking douchetool Tommy Christopher being forced into defending basic human decency – something he’s not so facile at affording other people. What a fucking fucktard he is, but it definitely was worth the price of the popcorn! 😀

Sharts are no fun. They’re a part of life that people just don’t talk about. Most people, anyway. I will. One time during a massive snowstorm, my friend Mike the Plowdriver was plowing the airport runways for about fifteen hours straight, and he had to poo. When he jumped down out of his truck on the tarmac, he sharted as soon as his feet hit the ground. He just took his pants and underwear off on the runway and cleaned up there; it wasn’t like anyone could see – he couldn’t see past the end of his own hood on the plow. Another time, he tried to make home-made jacuzzi and shit himself in the tub. He said he pushed the poo down the drain with his big toe. Another time, he was ice fishing and pooed in someone else’s abandoned icehole (or so he thought). He didn’t have any paper with him, so he ripped off the sleeve of his flannel shirt and cleaned up with that – and threw it in the hole. About three hours later, the hole owner showed up and started bitching about the shitty sleeve in his hole. He didn’t know about the trophy deuce at the bottom of the lake. I laughed until I cried. In fact, I still do every time I think of the story.

TiFW, you didn’t need to pull your comment, but I am sympathetic to your plight. I’m sorry you didn’t feel comfortable leaving it up.

  278. dick April 21, 2011 at 1:57 pm #

  279. Teresa in Fort Worth, TX April 21, 2011 at 1:57 pm #

I pulled it before you left yours, Jazz. It was a little too personal, and not very “ha-ha” funny. A lot of people with MG who are on the same medication have that reaction, so it wasn’t unexpected….

Had a good laugh at your friends’ stories, though!

It sure is too bad that some of the peasants aren’t as poor as he would like:

About 200 donors were at the breakfast fundraiser, per a Democratic official.Your pooler counted 15 tables with 10 chairs each, however, and not all tables were full, including one in the back where Valerie Jarrett, Jay Carney and Patrick Gaspard sat with two other people. Tickets are $35,800 each.

Mr. Obama was in the middle of his remarks when a woman in a white suit stood up and said, Mr. President we wrote you a song. POTUS tried to get her to wait until later, but she persisted and the table of 10 broke into a song that pointed out they’d just spent $5,000 donating to his campaign and went on to protest the treatment of Pfc. Bradley Manning.

…the woman in the white suit stripped off her jacket to reveal a black T-shirt that said Free Bradley Manning, with an image of him. “We paid our dues. Where’s our change?” they sang. USSS and WH staff had moved near the table at this point. The woman was escorted out. Two others left on their own. (The rest stayed and applauded at the end of POTUS’s speech.)

“That was a nice song,” a displeased Mr. Obama said. “Now where was I?”

Not a fun way to live for anyone dealing with a system malfunction/sensitivity. You just deal the best you can. Humor helps.

Yeah – I guess only the Democrats would pee in their own cage, huh?

Which got me to thinking – when they were talking about Libya (and really, most countries over in the Middle East), they said that the people who are able to hold power over there are the ones who find enough “common ground” to bring together the most tribes.

Doesn’t that sound a lot like the Democrat Party? It’s really nothing more than a whole bunch of special interest groups who all have their own agenda – “To Hell with what those other groups want, as long as I get mine” – all cobbled together and led by whichever person can manage to wrangle all of them.

They won’t ever be able to work together, because they aren’t fighting for a common cause. Eventually, they’re going to split apart and then regroup.

I guess we need to come at this whole “Defeat the Democrats” from a foreign policy/military angle. As the Israelis always say, “If you want to win a war, fight Arabs”….

I’m thinkin’ the Dems are essentially the political equivalent of the Arabs.
