Is there a penile implant center around here that’s open on weekends and takes plastic?

  5. MCPO Airdale April 16, 2011 at 4:04 pm #

They implant plastic in your penis?! That sounds uncomfortable!

Just checked air fares for D/FW to Chicago for June 2nd.

$345 round trip at American. Not too bad.
Let’s see… Plus car rental and cheap hotel.
Yeah, I’ll spend $600 to watch Stink graduate.

  9. Dick April 16, 2011 at 4:36 pm #

Chief, I don’t have any miniature medals. Never did an “I Love Me” wall or anything.

I will make certain to get photos and video.

  10. Dick April 16, 2011 at 4:42 pm #

And wouldn’t that sort of event call for a suit and tie, or is that going overboard?

  11. Blackiswhite, Imperial Consigliere April 16, 2011 at 6:09 pm #

I wouldn’t say “overboard” on a Navy installation.

  12. Dick April 16, 2011 at 6:28 pm #

This one’s ten miles from any water. They’ll deal.

  13. Blackiswhite, Imperial Consigliere April 16, 2011 at 6:36 pm #

As he approached the building, he slowed down. He hadn’t seen anyone for days, living or dead, and the only sound he’d heard as he walked through this suburb was the sound of the wind as it rushed past him. Despite the large wooded areas interspersed between the housing developments, he’d seen no game and heard no birds. The silence felt oppressive on his ears.

Still, he was running low on supplies and the abandonned supermarket looked promising. The thought of a warm meal that hadn’t been dehydrated prompted him forward.

He forced the door, and muttered a silent prayer to no one that the store had skylights, which filtered in dim light from the grey, overcast skies outside. He moved cautiously, his ears primed for the telltale footfalls that would let him know that he was being hunted for his flesh which still pulsed with life.

His plan had been simple: make for the mountains, and try to outlast the flesheating horrors that tried to make up for their lack of souls with bloody chunks of living flesh, newly chewed from the bodies of the living. And while it had worked, he had failed to understand how long outlsting them would take. Five years of tracking through the Cascades hadn’t achieved this goal yet, although the undead’s numbers had been reduced significantly during that time.

As he pulled the cans of chili from the shelf, and placed them in his rucksack, he suddenly realized that he was not alone. His head jerked up, and he looked to his right, to see five corpses well past their expiration dates simply standing there…looking at him.

He turned to his right, and saw six more, stopped at the end of the aisle and doing the same. He could only account for six with the revolver, and that was if he didn’t miss. Slowly, he drew the weapon, and as he cocked it and lifted, he saw the zombies turn and shuffle away. Puzzled, he turned back to his right, and saw only an empty aisle. He shouldered the bag, and headed back out the way he came, not seeing anything, or hearing a sound as he made his way back to the door.

As he crossed through the door frame, and under the grey skies, he inhaled deeply, surprised at how clostrophobic he had felt inside the decrepit store. He started his long walk back to the plateau, never seeing, but always feeling the dead eyes watching him every step of the way.

Dick – A suit and tie is appropriate. After all, the Sailors and the Reviewing Officer will be in class “A” uniforms.

    And order your mini-medals!!!

  15. Dick April 16, 2011 at 6:52 pm #

We’ll do the suit and tie then. Glad that’s settled.

  16. MCPO Airdale April 16, 2011 at 6:55 pm #

Dick – If you don’t like the mini medals, how about the lapel pin for your highest award or your CIB.

28% of men have had sex in a car.
20% of women have had sex in a car.

Clearly, the Federal Government needs to spend billions on a multi year study to discover why women have less experience than men in this matter, and then launch a new program that flushes spends billions annually to help women to overcome this sexist deficit.

You laughed, you cried, it is no longer part of you…like every People’s Epic, da?

You will do well when Commerade Barack finishes his fundamental transformation of Amerika to newest Worker’s Paradise. Yes, you will do just fine, Commerade.

When Commerade Barack’s Fundamental Transformation of Amerika is complete, ALL appliances and electronics will be “pretty one”. Because there will only be one kind of each.

Of course, you will only have electricity to run them on the third Tuesday of every other month, between 9:00 and 9:15 am, but once you learn that only Party Members get ones with all components installed, you won’t care anyway.

Besides, you will be in lines for black market toilet paper and extra rations of saltines anyway.

Good times are coming, Commerades! Rejoice!

  79. LC Aggie Sith April 17, 2011 at 12:14 pm #

Of course not. You decadent westerners refuse to willingly abandon such trivialities, and want to keep living the way that you have.

Thankfully, Commerade Barack will not let you continue to live life the way that you have been. You know, with gasoline to go places, heating oil to keep you warm, coal to make electricity to light your homes, and money to buy decadent luxuries…like food, and clothing.

Now get back to work. There is much more wealth to transfer to emerging socialist nations who hate your capitalist guts.

I’ve never understood the need to make fun of people’s writing skills. Grammar, yes. Technical ability should be standard across the board. But artistic ability? Shit… they put themselves out there, unlike the people who make sarcastic comments. That’s just cowardly, IMO.

Maybe I’m going to far, but I see that crap at amazon, too. It still bothers me.

    “Mounted by the Mechanic”

    “Passion at the Piggly Wiggly”

    “12 Inches at the Five-And-Dime”

There’s no end to settings. And the cross merchandising opportunities are endless…packaging with KY products, Trojan, coupons for discounts at Victoria’s Secret and Fredericks of Hollywood…

I think we should form a corporation to exploit this fantastic opportunity.

Artistic ability wasn’t the issue, since I don’t have any. It was the subject material and how it was portrayed, and since it did come off as being somewhat ridiculous, I understood.

Clean you bifocals, Old Man. I didn’t say we couldn’t make fun of anyone…we all know we tease because we love (except for Dick, who does it because he’s the scariest extremist to ever walk the planet, and will bring the arbiters of permissable speech down on us like a herd of angry swine).

I was just reminding the machete-wielding one to be prepared for the inevitable razzing, because severing limbs is forever. (SYWM John Wanye Bobbitt!)

  117. Teresa in Fort Worth, TX April 17, 2011 at 2:35 pm #

And I think TiFW missed her calling. She could be supplementing her income writing bodice-rippers with suggestive covers in every day settings.

You do know that I wrote that little lagniappe just to be a smart-ass, right?

I appreciate the compliment and the vote of confidence, BiW, but I wasn’t kidding when I said that writing fiction is HARD. I don’t know how Dick and others do it!

After that lone exhausting foray into semi-soft-core porn writing, this fragile little flower had to sink down on her fainting couch and fan herself for lo, a full half-hour before she wasn’t in danger of wilting from a case of the vapors.

Besides, if I were ever to write anything that actually were to get published, I know that my reserved 72-year-old mother and my dear, sweet, 91-year-old grandmother will not only want to read it, they will want to brag about it to all of their friends and tell them to read it….

    Say it with me. Psuedonym.

I already have one for the day I publish something, although the funniest thing I ever wrote was the biography for a professional service corporation that I was once part of.

See, you charcterize it all wrong, and I fear that is part of your trepidation. It isn’t pr0n. It’s romance. (Yes, you and I know this isn’t true, but 52% of the country believed that contempt and ruin was HOPE! and CHANGE!. We could sell these suckers anything if it is packaged properly!)

A friend of mine used to say “If you don’t ask, you don’t get.”

I even have the pleasant memory of being approached by a drop-dead gorgeous woman who spent the evening with me, to the consternation of all my frat brothers. I never saw her again, and I often wondered what bet she lost that set events in motion that day…

  136. MCPO Airdale April 17, 2011 at 3:19 pm #

Aggie – I was 18, in great shape and had a job. Lot’s of NYC career women liked being with a “working man” back in the day.

  137. LC Aggie Sith April 17, 2011 at 3:22 pm #

BisW, she was probably in town visiting a friend, and that was her last night there, and she wanted a memory to keep her warm on the coldest day in Eternity 😉

MCPO, women have changed since then, sadly…

  138. MCPO Airdale April 17, 2011 at 3:24 pm #

Aggie – Don’t I know it. Half of the 20-something “males” around here are effeminate wastrels with no concept of manual labor.

  139. LC Aggie Sith April 17, 2011 at 3:31 pm #

What wigs me out is that women find those metrosexual wastrels even remotely attractive.

Actually, they don’t – they just “hang out” with them because they’re “safe”.

Even the liberal women won’t go out with them for the most part….

  141. Teresa in Fort Worth, TX April 17, 2011 at 3:41 pm #

So after doing all of that research on the dishwasher, going and looking at new ones, and having to listen to Mr. TiFW fuss about how much he was going to have to spend on a new one, he goes to disconnect the old one and discovers that a simple little wire was loose….

I guess I can’t blame the boys. Hell, 2/3rds of them never had a male role model in the home. But, ChristonaChristmasTree! Most of them spend more time on their hair and shoes than the girls did when I was that age!

Nothing yet, Chief. But on another note, I did find a bunch of round trip flights to Milwaukee for $250, so life is getting better. Too bad I can’t book one just yet.
